Fourfold

Four in a row is a game you can play in a minute — so it should take a minute to start. Fourfold is four in a row, fast: find an opponent online, send a friend a link, practise against the computer, or pass one phone across the table.

PLAY ONLINE
• Quick play finds you an opponent in seconds
• Fifteen seconds a move — the timer runs along the top of the board, and running out of time loses
• Quick play is rated: your rating moves with every result, and your profile keeps your record going first and going second
• Rematch in one tap, with seats swapped, so the first move takes turns

PLAY A FRIEND
• Invite a friend with a link — share it on WhatsApp or anywhere else, and it opens straight into your game
• Get a notification when your friend joins or asks for a rematch (if you allow notifications)
• See your head-to-head record with everyone you play

PRACTICE AGAINST THE COMPUTER
• Four levels: Beginner, Casual, Sharp and Expert
• No clock, no rating change — just the board
• Lost? Watch an optional ad to try again from your last move

PASS AND PLAY
• Two players, one phone or tablet, no clock
• Sign in once (as a guest or with Google); after that it plays without a connection

MADE TO FEEL GOOD
• Discs that drop with weight and land with a sound
• Sound effects, music and vibration, each with its own switch, plus Mute all
• Built for phones and tablets

FAIR PLAY
• No chat and no free text
• Report or block any player from a game or its result; a blocked player is never matched with you again
• Play as a guest, or sign in with Google to keep your account when you change phone
• Delete your account any time, in Settings

Fourfold is free and supported by ads: a banner on the home screen and the online board, a full-screen ad at the end of each game, and an optional ad to retry a practice game.
