About Midwife Patient Tracker (beta)

Note: Adding patients uses the Menu button. Some newer Android phones do not have a Menu button but the same functionality can be accessed by long pressing either the Back button or the Recent Apps button, depending on the phone model.

The newest version of Android on some Samsung phones hides the menu functionality even more. To access the menu button function on those devices, you have to go into: "Settings, accessibility, dexterity and interaction, assistant menu, turn on. Then when you press the four square button you will need to press "more options" to bring up the menu in the app."

This app is intended for a midwife or doula to track midwifery patients.

* Calculates due date from LMP
* Calculates due date from conception
* Calculates weeks gestation
* Calculates weeks postpartum
* Calendar view summary

Please email if you have any problems or requests.

To add new patients, tap menu then add patient from the patient list screen.

To delete a patient, long press the name in the patient list.

Galaxy S5 users please note: there is no dedicated menu key, please long press the app switch key to access the menu. v1.0.10 Added initial backup/restore support (this is very beta functionality and will likely change). This requires the ability to write to the SD Card, so there is a new permission request. Added the ability to set the conception date and calculate the due date. Added an option to allow setting of the gestation period to allow use with non-human animals such as cows.

I loved this on my old Motorola phone but cannot add a new patient on my Samsung s5. :( I emailed the developer and they helped me figure it out! Long - press the key on the bottom left! It works great. I use this app every day!
