Ethics and Privacy
In a changing world, we believe in sovereignty, stability, and protective European laws. SoWi's algorithm was developed around the two pillars of ethics and privacy. The default setting is "all blocked." You have control over your data and who accesses it. You have flexible notification preferences, and you can designate a trusted contact (mandatory for minors) to protect your interests. Data is stored in France and Europe, and GDPR and CNIL regulations apply. You log in and identify your friends with a phone number, but we (and any GAFAM companies) have no access to it. We do not track your location (permission is requested to locate stores only when you choose). We will not use your data to solicit you or resell it.
We are compensated by partner sites (from their margin, without increasing the price for you), donations (premium page), and content creators.
