About RTA Pro: Spectrum Analyzer
Turn your phone into a real-time audio analyzer. RTA Pro shows every frequency live, with the peak, the level and the musical note on screen, so you can tune a car audio system, a PA or a home studio with your eyes as well as your ears.
WHY RTA PRO
• Readings you can trust: levels checked against an independent calculation
• Numbers always on screen: peak frequency, level, Max and Leq, readable from a distance
• Open it and measure: no account, no sign-up
• Works fully offline, in English, French, German, Korean and Portuguese
MEASURE
• Real-time FFT up to 32,768 points, logarithmic or linear scale
• RTA in 1/1, 1/3 and 1/6 octave bands (IEC 61260 center frequencies)
• Full-screen spectrogram (waterfall) to follow the sound over time
• A, C and Z weighting, averaging and peak hold
• Musical note of the peak, with its offset in cents: name a room mode or a feedback tone at a glance
COMPARE
• Reference curves: freeze a measurement, then compare before and after each EQ change
• Two-finger zoom and pan in every view; full screen with a double tap
CALIBRATE
• Import the calibration file of your measurement microphone (miniDSP UMIK-1, Dayton Audio iMM-6 and similar formats)
• Read true dB SPL once calibrated
SHARE
• Capture an image, or a video with sound, of the live analysis with the readings and the date, saved straight to your gallery: show a client the result of your tuning
• Export the curve as PNG and the data as CSV
GENERATE
• Built-in signal generator: sine, white noise, pink noise and 20 Hz–20 kHz sweep
MADE FOR
Car audio installers, sound engineers, live sound and DJ techs, home studio owners, musicians, and anyone curious to see what they hear.
GOOD TO KNOW
A phone microphone is ideal for comparisons: before and after, peaks, tonal balance. For absolute, lab-grade levels, use a calibrated measurement microphone and load its file.
PRIVACY
The microphone is used only while you analyze. Nothing leaves your phone.
