About Zodiac Orbit: Star Defense
The sky is going dark.
Shadows pour out of the dimmed stars of the zodiac and close in on Polaris. Eight wanderers of the night sky stand guard: the Sun, the Moon, Jupiter, a Comet, Mars, Mercury, Saturn and Venus.
Zodiac Orbit is a roguelike defense game that fits into about ten minutes. The wanderers circle Polaris and fight on their own. Your part is the skills. Drag one onto the thickest part of the swarm and let go.
Overlap them and combos trigger
• Four statuses: fire, lightning, ice and light.
• Two different ones on the same shadows, and every hit counts double. Three, triple. All four, four times.
• Eleven combinations to find, from Steam Burst to Supernova. The ones you trigger most level up during the run.
A different build every run
• Between waves you pick one card out of three: 154 cards in five tiers.
• Combos give you motes. Spend them on a second card, on healing Polaris, or on a wager on the next wave.
• Buy cards and charms at the star market, or take a tag in place of a card.
• Clear a special wave for a wish, and make it at the moment you choose.
• The first skill of a run hits for less than a hundred. By the last wave the same skill hits for hundreds of thousands.
Twelve constellations
• Each has a boss of its own, from the Shadow Ram of Aries to the two Fishes of Pisces, and new rules come as you go.
• Relight one and it shines in gold on the sky map.
• Five difficulties, and endless waves after every win.
• Twenty-eight challenge runs that each bend one rule, and a new nightly run every day.
Your team
• Eight wanderers and twenty-four runes. A rune changes how a skill works.
• You win runes one at a time as you relight the sky.
• Two more wanderers join you in every run.
Made for short sessions
• Your first run starts straight from the map.
• Close the game in the middle of a run and take it up again from the same wave.
• Larger text, dimmed light, and screen shake and damage numbers you can turn off.
• Plays offline, in landscape, in English or Korean.
About this test version
This is an early build. From your second run on you can choose to watch a short ad for a reward (a revive, twice the Stardust, one more swap, the daily gift); no ad ever plays unless you ask. The one purchase, the Supporter, gives those rewards without the ad and ×3 speed. Wanderers, runes and cards are never sold. The first time you open it, it asks your age and for your agreement to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. It sends play records (cards picked, where runs end, crashes) to help improve the game, and you can switch this off any time in Settings. In Europe, the UK and Switzerland you choose this separately, and children's devices send nothing. No name, account or advertising ID is collected.

What’s new
Version 0.1.3 · Updated October 20, 2026
- New players go straight into Aries after the first screen. - The tip about Auto is larger and points at the button. - Polaris's health is a bigger bar; the screen's edges flash red when it is struck and beat when it is nearly out.
