"SENTINEL"
security app

Sentinel is an application for smart cell phones (“smartphones”) of the Municipality of Tandil, which allows the registered citizen to send an immediate report to the Operations Center in the event of an extremely urgent or serious event, basically derived from an act of insecurity, from a medical or health emergency situation or that requires the intervention of the Fire Department.
Just by pressing the corresponding button, the application directly sends the report to the Operations Center. There, a qualified Operator, based on their previously registered data, will automatically know who is requesting the help, the contact details in case it is necessary to communicate with the requester and their satellite position so that they can easily find them and give them assistance. The Operator, depending on the type of emergency in question, will carry out all the steps established to proceed with the situation and articulate the resolution of the problem quickly and effectively, through the appropriate responders: Police, Ambulance and/or Firemen.
