How does my friend feel? What happened? How can I help?

Hijoo Feelings is a gentle game about emotions and first social skills for children aged 2 to 5. Together with Hijoo the unicorn and animal friends, your child discovers six feelings – joy, sadness, anger, fear, surprise and calm – in faces, bodies, sounds and little stories. Hijoo is the same unicorn you may know from Hijoo: Cooking, Hijoo Train and the other Hijoo games.

NO WORDS NEEDED
The game has no text to read and no voice to understand. Feelings are shown with faces, body language, colours, music and friendly sounds (a giggle, a sniff, a huffy "hmpf!"). It works in every language and even for children who do not talk yet – you give the feelings their names. The parents' corner has short tips on how to talk about each feeling.

11 GAMES IN ONE SIMPLE MENU
Every game is one big picture in the menu – you see straight away what your child will play.
• Find the same face and build a face from brows, eyes and a mouth
• What happened? Little animated stories (an ice cream falls, a gift arrives, a storm outside) – how does the friend feel?
• Help a friend: help up a friend who fell, build the tower again, give a hug
• Guess a feeling from a pose in the shadow or from a sound behind the curtain
• Memory with feelings, what made the friend feel this way, feeling houses
• Share strawberries fairly and take turns on the swing
• Feelings weather: how do you feel today?

CALM CORNER
Balloon breathing (three slow breaths – then the big balloon pops), blowing out birthday candles, big bubbles, a hug for a sad friend, counting to five and a glitter jar. Nothing is timed or rated – and the whole calm corner is free.

MUSIC TOY
Six songs without words – happy, sad, stompy, tiptoe, surprising and a lullaby. Tap the four little musicians to let them join in.
