About ERMA - Virginia 811

Welcome to Virginia 811’s Excavator Response Management Application (ERMA), a cutting-edge digital distribution platform designed to revolutionize the way excavators manage Positive Responses submitted by locators. This app improves efficiencies related to excavator interaction with locators through the Positive Response System. Specifically, excavators can now review their Locate Requests and related Positive Responses in an easy to navigate menu, while also being able to respond to Code 60 requests submitted by locators.

Effortless Code 60 Management: Say goodbye to the hassle of managing Code 60 requests via emails. ERMA simplifies the entire process by allowing excavators to respond to Code 60s directly within the app. This means excavators can handle requests swiftly and efficiently. ERMA enables excavators to grant access to field contacts, allowing them to accept or decline Code 60s even if they were not the individuals who originally submitted the Locate Request. This seamless collaboration ensures that the right people are involved in the decision-making process, enhancing efficiency, and reducing misunderstandings. There is even a function excavators can turn on to automatically decline Code 60s submitted after 6:00 PM the day before the 7:00 AM deadline for locators to respond to the Locate Request.

Key Features:

1. Streamlined Code 60 Requests: Respond to Code 60 requests directly within the app, eliminating the need for monitoring emails and ensuring prompt action as excavators can set the app to notify them when locators use Code 60 as a Positive Response on their Locate Requests.

2. Field Contact Access: Grant access to field contacts, empowering them to accept or decline Code 60s, ensuring smooth coordination and efficient project management.

3. Administrator Access: the administrator function allows individuals not directly associated with a Locate Request, meaning their email addresses or phone numbers are not on the request, to monitor Locate Requests associated with their excavation company. Those directly managing Locate Requests can give permission for others at the company to see the status of Locate Requests.

4. Real-time Notifications: Stay up-to-date with instant notifications for new Code 60 requests, updates, and responses, ensuring timely communication and avoiding delays.

5. Secure and Reliable: Our app prioritizes the security and confidentiality of your data, providing a safe environment for your excavation project and communications.

6. Launch LETS within the application.

7. Review Enhanced Positive Response within the application.

8. Allow excavators to update and remark existing tickets before their expiration date. Additionally, organization administrators gain visibility into both Remark and Update tickets within their respective organizations.

Whether you’re a seasoned excavator or even a homeowner with just one excavation project, ERMA is your go-to solution for efficient Code 60 management and a tool to help you track all Positive Responses. Download now and experience the future of excavation project Positive Response management.
