Scan a barcode, say which shelf the case goes on, and your DVD and Blu-ray collection turns into something you can search. No more standing in front of 400 spines hunting for one movie.

Scan the barcode on the back of the case. The app finds the film and pulls in the cover, the plot, the year, the runtime, the director, the cast, the rating and the trailer. Then it asks for two numbers: which shelf, which board. That's it. Six months later you type the title and it tells you exactly where to reach.

Scan it instead of typing it

Hold the barcode in the frame. MovieFinder works out what's on the box and strips off the packaging junk, so "Blade Runner 2049 (4K UHD + Blu-ray) [Steelbook]" comes back as plain Blade Runner 2049. Pick the right movie, put in the position, done. Barcode too scratched to read, or a release no database has ever heard of? Type the number or the title yourself and it still lands in your library.

Find any movie in seconds

Search looks through your own collection first. Every result shows the poster with the shelf and board right beside it, so you know where you're walking before you get up. It matches the original title too, which helps with anything you picked up abroad.

Your whole library in one list

The library lists everything you own. Filter by shelf or by genre, sort by title, year, when you added it or where it sits. Tap a movie for the full page: poster, backdrop, plot, cast, director, rating and the trailer.

Works at the shelf, not just on wifi

Everything you add is stored on the phone. Your library, your positions and your searches all work with no signal. Only looking up a new film needs the internet, so a cellar or a garage is no problem.

No account, no ads, no tracking

There's nothing to sign up for. No advertising, no analytics, nothing collected about you. Your collection is yours and it stays on your phone.

Three languages

Switch language on the home screen. It changes the app and also the language your titles, plot summaries and genres come back in.

Free and full version

The first 50 movies are free. After that the full version drops the limit, either as a monthly or yearly subscription or as a one-off lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app in your own currency. Subscriptions renew until you cancel, and you can manage or cancel them any time in Google Play.
