PrivateSMS

PrivateSMS is a full-featured messaging app that puts you in control of your conversations — fast, customizable, and built with privacy in mind.

Everyday messaging, done right
- Clean, modern conversation list and chat screens
- Reply, forward, copy, star, and pin your important conversations
- Search within a conversation or across all your messages
- Attach photos, videos, audio, your location, or a contact card
- Send one message to a whole group at once, with delivery status per recipient
- Dual SIM support for messages sent from the right number
- Light, Dark, or Automatic (day/night) themes, plus custom chat wallpapers

Private, on your terms
- Lock any conversation behind a PIN or fingerprint
- A decoy PIN option shows a normal inbox if you're ever asked to unlock
- Choose your own secret word, phrase, or emoji to reveal your private area
- Auto-lock after inactivity, or instantly when your screen turns off
- Screenshot protection on private screens
- Auto-delete messages on a schedule you choose
- Notifications for private chats never reveal the sender or message content

Stay in control
- Block unwanted numbers, or filter messages by keyword automatically
- Mark messages as unread, quick-reply from the notification shade, or copy an OTP code with one tap
- Choose which apps behave the way you want — no clutter, no surprises

Optional Phone companion app
Pair PrivateSMS with our separate Phone app for call history, contacts, caller ID, spam protection, and consent-based location sharing during calls — entirely optional, and only active if you choose to install it.

PrivateSMS respects your privacy: your messages stay on your device, your private-area settings are encrypted locally, and location is only ever shared with your explicit confirmation, never in the background.
