Settle into a terracotta field receiver. Rotate its frequency and phase knobs until your solid trace joins the dotted target, hold the match steady, and latch the signal. The receiver then opens a tall phosphor field: tap as each incoming pulse reaches the timing band. Everything needed to play is visible.

Eighteen signals introduce controlled drift and uneven pulse spacing. Each transmission prints a paper receipt with your actual timing offsets, missed pulses and accuracy. Deliver at least sixty-five percent to open the next signal, retry a difficult recording, or retune a previous message. In relay mode, continue through fresh signals beyond the initial eighteen while retaining the receipts and a pulse-weighted combined score.

Pause the receiver when you need a break; your active timing and progress are saved locally. Optional touch feedback can be switched off. Shortwave Echo works offline without ads, accounts, microphone access or a listening requirement.
