ShommyX Meet

ShommyX Meet is video meetings built for real phones on real networks.

Start a meeting, share a five-character code, and talk. The people you invite don't need an account — they tap the link and they're in. No install, no sign-up wall between someone and the meeting they were invited to.

WATCH WHAT YOU SPEND
Most video apps hide what they cost you in data. ShommyX Meet shows a live meter of how much you have used, and lets you choose: audio only, low, standard or HD. Audio-only runs about 45 MB an hour for a five-person meeting. You decide, and you can see the result while it is happening.

MEETINGS THAT KEEP RUNNING
Switch to another app mid-meeting and the audio keeps going. A notification tells you your microphone is open, and a Leave button sits right in it, so you never have to hunt back through the app to hang up.

FOR PEOPLE WHO RUN THINGS
• Recurring meetings — the same code works next week, and the week after
• A waiting room, so nobody walks in before you are ready
• Co-hosts who can help moderate
• Breakout groups
• Polls, Q&A with upvotes, and raised hands in an orderly queue
• An attendance record of who came and how long they stayed
• Screen sharing, with drawing on top of what is shared
• Live captions, generated on each speaker's own device
• Report a participant, so anyone in a meeting can raise a problem

WHAT WE DON'T DO
We do not record your meetings — there is no recording feature and nothing is written to disk. Captions are produced on your device and go straight to the other people in the room. In-meeting chat is not kept. We do not sell your data and we do not advertise to you.

Free meetings run up to 90 minutes. Guests never pay — the person who books the room is the person who pays for it, and everybody they invite gets the meeting for free.

ShommyX Meet is operated by ShommyX Technologies Inc.
