SheetMile is a receipt scanner and automatic mileage tracker for self-employed people - 1099 contractors, gig drivers and freelancers - that writes your books straight into your own Google Sheet.

HOW IT WORKS

Point your camera at a receipt. SheetMile reads the merchant, date, subtotal, tax and total on your phone, suggests the right IRS Schedule C category, and shows you the details to check before anything is saved.

Start the car. Mileage tracking begins when your car's Bluetooth connects and stops when you disconnect. A short stop - a delivery, a coffee - will not split one trip into three. Distance and deduction are calculated for you.

Everything lands in your Google Sheet. SheetMile creates a spreadsheet in your own Google Drive with three tabs: Summary, Expenses and Mileage Log. Formulas keep your totals and estimated deduction up to date.

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS

SheetMile runs no servers and has no accounts of its own. Receipts are read on your device and your records are written to your own Google Drive and Google Sheets. It asks for a single Google permission, drive.file, which only lets the app see the spreadsheet and folder it created for you. There are no ads, no analytics and no selling of data.
