Shake your phone to switch Do Not Disturb on. Shake it again to switch it off. No menus, no Quick Settings, no unlocking: perfect for meetings, the cinema, class or bedtime.

HOW IT WORKS
Hold your phone and shake it firmly back and forth 2–3 times. One long buzz means Do Not Disturb is on, two buzzes mean it's off. Single bumps, walking or putting the phone down are ignored, and one long shake never toggles twice.

• Auto-off timer: end Do Not Disturb after 15 min, 30 min, 1 h, 2 h, 4 h, 8 h or any duration you choose, with a live countdown and +15 min
• Schedule: only listen for shakes on the days and hours you pick, for example Mon–Fri 09:00–18:00 or overnight. Outside the schedule the sensor is off and costs no battery
• Work with screen off: shake the phone in your pocket without turning the screen on

GOOD TO KNOW
• On most phones the motion sensor stops when the screen is off. Use "Work with screen off" (Pro) to keep detecting, at the cost of some battery.
• On Android 15 and newer, an app can only turn off a Do Not Disturb that it turned on itself. If you started Do Not Disturb another way, turn it off there.
• Some phone makers (Xiaomi, Samsung, Huawei, OnePlus and others) stop background apps aggressively. Allow unrestricted battery for Shake to DND if detection stops.
