MAPS & USE WITHOUT A SIGNAL
Choose between the South Tyrol official map, South Tyrol aerial imagery, a relief map and OpenStreetMap. Areas of the official map, the aerial imagery and the relief map that you have already viewed stay saved and are available again without an internet connection, as are your saved tours. So you are not left staring at an empty map where the mobile network ends. OpenStreetMap, which also fills in outside South Tyrol, at the edges and in the wide overview of the official map, only loads online.

RECORD TOURS & PHOTOS WITH LOCATION
Record your tour via GPS – even with the screen locked in your pocket. The camera button on the map takes photos that ScouTirol saves with place and time and shows as pins on the map; while you are recording, they belong to your tour. ScouTirol uploads no photos.

DISCOVER PLACES & ATTRACTIONS
Find huts, peaks, viewpoints, pharmacies, doctors, lifts, and sports centers nearby – complete with photos and descriptions from Wikipedia.

SAFETY ON THE GO
Keep an eye on avalanche bulletins and weather warnings. The emergency sheet shows your coordinates and the nearest hospital, starts a call to 112 through your phone and opens the share menu for your location. ScouTirol itself is not an emergency service.

WEATHER, CLOSURES & CABLE CARS AT THE RIGHT TIME
ScouTirol doesn't check the weather right now, but the weather for the time you reach the highest point of your hike or ride – with thunderstorm warnings and freezing level. For drives you get the district weather for today and tomorrow at your destination. Add the official closing times of mountain roads and cycle paths and the last ride down the cable car. A simple traffic light tells you whether the tour works today.
