The Bike Tour Guide offers simple route guidance and all the important information you need for an organised cycling tour from Velociped. The app can only be used meaningfully for a cycling trip booked with Velociped. Velociped provides you with the access data for your trip. After downloading, all travel information is available to you offline (without an internet connection). This way you can find out everything you need to know about your trip before you start.
During the tour, you have all the relevant information at your fingertips on your smartphone and are guided by GPS navigation (including voice output) on elaborated routes to your respective daily destination. For each stage, the app also shows you your current position using the altitude profile. This allows you to see exactly how many kilometres and metres of altitude you have already covered and which climbs are still to come. In addition, places of interest, daily tips, restaurant recommendations and cycle service stations as well as your accommodation are displayed directly on the map and are backed up with tourist information.
