Sapling Draw: Kids Drawing

Sapling Draw is a calm, open-ended drawing and coloring app for kids ages 4 and up. It opens directly to a blank page, so young artists can start creating without an account, lesson, or setup.

Start free with no ads or subscription. The core drawing tools stay free, and one optional parent-gated purchase unlocks the Creative Collection with additional brushes and stamps.

DRAW, PAINT, AND BUILD LITTLE WORLDS

Mix colors, explore expressive brushes, and turn every picture into a story. Add dinosaurs, unicorns, rockets, rain clouds, fire trucks, trees, mountains, stars, Saturn, and more. Some stamps come alive with gentle sounds and animations: hear a dinosaur roar, launch a rocket, call up a rainstorm, or make a unicorn sparkle.

WHAT'S INSIDE

- 7 expressive brushes: marker, crayon, watercolor, spray, splatter, leaves, and smooth color blending

- Playful animated and sound-making stamps
- Easy undo, redo, erase, and clear controls
- Pinch to zoom and pan for close-up details

CREATIVE LEARNING THROUGH PLAY

Sapling Draw is a free-play creative tool rather than a lesson or competition. Open-ended drawing supports creative expression, visual storytelling, fine-motor and pre-writing practice, color recognition, and spatial choices involving size, position, and composition.
