SamLab is a laboratory information system (LIS) and lab management software for diagnostic and pathology laboratories, made in India by Sammed Technosol. This is the companion app for SamLab on the desktop: the parts of your diagnostic lab you need away from the counter, on the same records, in sync.

Built for pathology lab owners, pathologists, technicians and front-desk staff.

PLEASE NOTE: SamLab is a professional tool for licensed diagnostic laboratories. To sign in, your lab needs SamLab with SamLab Cloud and the Mobile app add-on. There is no sign-up in the app: your administrator creates your login.

• Patients, bills, amount billed, collected and still due

BILLING
• Raise a bill for a patient with the tests they need
• Edit a saved bill: add or remove tests, change prices and discounts
• Record cash or online payments, and refund extra money
• Download or share the receipt as a PDF

RESULT ENTRY
• Find a sample by scanning its barcode, or by its bill
• Enter results parameter by parameter, with the reference range and unit beside each one
• Free text is accepted, so "Nil seen" and "Absent" work as well as numbers
• A verified result is locked, and says so

LAB REPORTS (FTR)
• The report queue by stage, from registered to delivered
• The lab report as a PDF, laid out as your desktop prints it, on plain paper or your letterhead, to download or share
• Scan a tube to jump straight to its record

• Supplier Master and Mother Labs, as on the desktop
• Record purchases, payments and opening balances
• See what is outstanding, and every supplier's full ledger

ON A WEAK CONNECTION
What you have already opened stays on the phone, so screens open quickly on a patchy signal. Saving needs a connection, and the app says so rather than losing your typing.

WHAT STAYS ON THE DESKTOP
Barcode printing, the analyser (LIS) feed, masters other than suppliers, multi-branch roll-ups, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, ABDM and scheme claims remain in SamLab on the desktop. This app is deliberately not the whole product.

ROLES, SECURITY AND YOUR DATA
• You see what your role and branch allow, set by your administrator and enforced on our servers
• Each laboratory's records are kept apart from every other laboratory's
• Encrypted in transit; optional fingerprint or face unlock
• Your lab owns its records. The app shows no advertising and tracks nobody

QUESTIONS

Who is this app for? Staff of a diagnostic or pathology lab that runs SamLab for lab management.
Do I need the desktop? Yes. This app works on the same records; it does not replace SamLab on the desktop.
What does it cost? The app has no price of its own in the store. It works with your laboratory's SamLab licence, SamLab Cloud and the Mobile app add-on, bought from Sammed Technosol.
Can I sign up inside the app? No. Your lab administrator creates your login.
Does it work offline? It reads offline from what you have already opened. Saving needs a connection.
