About Wake My Child

Wake My Child is a playful alarm clock for kids and families. Turn everyday wake-ups into small morning missions, celebrate progress with Morning Stars, and keep routines simple on one shared Android phone.

**MAKE MORNINGS MORE ENGAGING**

Instead of tapping a regular dismiss button, your child completes one randomly selected wake-up challenge. Depending on parent settings, missions can include smiling, winking, waving a hand, showing fingers, or finding the right pictures in a mixed photo grid. Optional voice and short quote-reading tasks can also be enabled.

**PARENT-MANAGED ALARMS**

- Set one-time or repeating wake-up alarms for different children.
- Choose a ringtone from built-in sounds, phone tones, or selected audio files.
- Pick Automatic, Gentle, Balanced, or Active challenge difficulty.
- Set bedtime reminders to encourage a consistent evening routine.
- Use a parent PIN to protect alarm and reward settings.

**ONE PHONE, MULTIPLE CHILDREN**

Create child profiles on a shared family phone. Each child has separate alarms, Morning Stars, wake-up history, and achievements. Parents can review progress and set custom rewards that children can redeem with their earned stars.

**A FRIENDLY START TO THE DAY**

Meet Mango Hero, a cheerful animated buddy who celebrates each completed mission. Wake-up challenges are designed to encourage children to become more alert before starting the day. If a camera task is difficult in low light, a picture-selection alternative is available.

**PRIVACY-CONSCIOUS DESIGN**

Child profiles and routine history are stored locally on the device. Face and hand challenge images are processed on-device by the app and are not retained as selfies. Voice and reading missions are optional; speech recognition may use the phone's speech service. The app does not require a Wake My Child online account or display in-app ads in this version.

Designed for parent-guided family use, especially children aged 6–16. Alarm and recognition behavior depends on device permissions, hardware, and Android settings.
