By default, chats run fully on-device—with no account, ads, or message tracking—and downloadable models optimized for your hardware work completely offline. When you want access to more models, you can optionally connect OpenRouter in a clean, native interface designed for privacy, focus, and flow.

Group chats have arrived! Chat with 2 separate cloud models from OpenRouter or OpenAI in 1 chat, and optionally get consolidated responses from either or another model. Russet is now organized around projects, so each project's chats, speeches, files, and instructions stay together and are easy to pick back up.
