About A Tray of Trouble
A Tray of Trouble is a colorful block puzzle where clever placements and a single swipe can turn a crowded board into a satisfying chain reaction.
Choose from three pieces in your tray and drag them onto the 8×8 board. Connect three or more same-colored cells horizontally or vertically to clear them—corners and branching clusters count too.
Every match can change the shapes around it. Clear part of a piece, and the remaining cells may split into smaller, independent blocks. Then swipe up, down, left, or right to slide the blocks across the board. Bring colors together, trigger more matches, and watch one clear lead to another.
PLACE, MATCH, BREAK, SLIDE
Each placement gives you one optional swipe by default. Use it to set up a cascade, open space for an awkward shape, or rescue a board that is getting dangerously full.
You can keep placing pieces without swiping, but space is precious. Chase the next combo or leave room for what comes next? One small placement can save a run—or bring it to an end.
HOW TO PLAY
• Choose a piece from your tray and drag it onto an open space
• Connect 3+ same-colored cells through their edges to clear them
• Break shapes apart by clearing some of their cells
• Swipe to slide blocks and trigger chain reactions
• Keep making room and push for a new high score
FEATURES
• A blend of block placement, color matching, and sliding strategy
• An 8×8 board with colorful, multicolored pieces
• Connected-cluster matching—no straight line required
• Shapes that split into smaller blocks as you clear them
• Combo scoring and cascading matches
• One optional swipe per placement by default
• An interactive tutorial to get you started
• Personal high scores and combo records
• Optional rewarded-ad revives for a second chance
• Core gameplay available offline
Jump in for a quick puzzle break or settle into a longer score-chasing run. The rules are simple. Keeping room for the next piece is the trouble.
