Frunk: Car Key for Wear OS

Frunk turns a Wear OS watch into a Bluetooth key for your car. Open the trunk or frunk, lock and unlock, open the charge port. No phone in your pocket, no internet, no Tesla account sign-in.

HOW IT WORKS
The watch generates its own key and is added to the car once, the same way a phone key is: walk up, tap Pair, hold your key card against the console. After that every command is signed on the watch and sent to the car directly over Bluetooth.

WHAT YOU GET
• Trunk, frunk, lock/unlock and charge port from the home screen
• A tile with all four actions, one swipe from the watch face
• Progress you can see: Looking for the car → Connecting → Sending → Done
• Vibration on success and on failure, so you don’t have to look at the screen
• Errors in plain language

PRIVACY
The private key is generated on the watch and never leaves it. There is no account, no cloud and no telemetry. Reinstalling the app creates a new key, so you will need to pair again.

REQUIREMENTS
• Wear OS 4 or newer, Bluetooth on
• A car with Bluetooth phone-key support and a key card for the one-time pairing
• The car’s VIN (copy it from the manufacturer’s app)
