Whether you are learning how the pieces move or sharpening a tournament repertoire, there is an opponent for you. Beat a level to unlock the next and watch your record grow.

• Master (2100) and Grandmaster (full strength)

The first seven levels use a fast built-in engine that runs on any device. The final three call on Stockfish — one of the strongest chess engines in the world — directly on your phone.

PLAY YOUR WAY
• Choose your side and play as white or black
• Add a clock: no clock, 5 min, 10 min, 15+10 Fischer or 30 min classical
• Two players on one device with local hotseat mode
• Toggle move animation, board coordinates and legal-move hints

A BOARD THAT FEELS GOOD
Pick from multiple board colour schemes and piece sets, and switch between light, dark and system themes. Optional legal-move highlighting, last-move highlighting and an evaluation bar help you learn from every game.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
Every finished game is recorded. See your wins, draws and losses, win rate and win streaks for each level, and resume an unfinished game exactly where you left it. Recent games are saved in an archive.

SIMPLE AND PRIVATE
No sign-up and no personal data required. Settings, statistics and saved games stay on your device. Play offline in airplane mode — perfect for commuting, flights or a quiet break.
