About いま鉄速度計 電車・鉄道のGPSスピードメーター 新幹線対応
🚃 How fast is the train I'm on going right now?
The scenery passing by outside the window, the feeling of acceleration—
"How fast is this train going right now?"
"Where are we now? How much further to the next station?"
Answering these questions in real time with just GPS,
"ImaTetsu Speedometer" is a GPS speedometer specifically for trains.
It works on Shinkansen lines such as the Tokaido, Sanyo, Tohoku, Hokuriku, and Kyushu lines, as well as express trains and conventional lines.
It automatically recognizes the line and station you're on, and displays the distance to the next station,
a timeline of all stations, and a speed graph.
There's no need to manually select a line.
It makes train travel, trips, commuting, and family outings even more enjoyable.

⚡ Three Real-Time Screens
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🛤️【Route View】
- Automatically displays the name and color of the route you are currently on.
- Constantly updates the section from "◯◯ Station → ×× Station" and the distance to the next station.
- A timeline list of all stations before and after. The distance to each station is also displayed.
- Displays the altitude of your current location and the gradient (‰) of the tracks.
- In mountainous sections, you can see the uphill and downhill sections numerically.
- When you arrive at a station, the screen glows green to indicate arrival.
- Counts the stopping time while stopped. Once departure,
the stopping time at that station is displayed.
*Even if GPS is lost in a tunnel, the position is estimated from the previous run and the display continues.
📈【Speed Graph View】
*Review the changes in speed over the past 1 to 30 minutes (5 levels) in a graph.
*Color-coded display: Low speed (green) → Medium speed (orange) → High speed (red).
*Displays the names of stations passed overlaid on the graph.
*Automatically calculates the average speed between stations (scheduled speed).
This shows the pure speed of the train, excluding stopping time.
- For Shinkansen top speed challenges and recording the performance of express trains.
🗺️【Map View】
- All routes are faintly drawn on a dark-toned map.
- Current location marker tracks the route in real time.
- Station names and distances are also displayed on the map.

🚄 Shinkansen speed, right in the moment
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Tohoku Shinkansen 320km/h, Tokaido Shinkansen 285km/h──
Displays "how fast the train is currently traveling" in real time.
You can witness the moment it reaches top speed and the deceleration towards the station,
through numbers and graphs.
Placing it near a window where GPS reception is better will result in a more stable display.
