TenderDesk: Tender Manager

TenderDesk is a companion app for suppliers who bid for public sector contracts in the United Kingdom. It brings together a clear overview of tendering services, a personal compliance tracker and a simple way to reserve an in person consultation, all in a single lightweight application that works entirely on your device.

The home screen gives a quick snapshot of the services on offer alongside key figures about the tendering market, so you always know where to go next. The services screen lists every offering with a plain description of what it covers and a transparent price shown in pounds sterling, together with a side by side comparison of subscription plans so you can weigh up options without leaving the app.

The compliance tracker is a genuinely useful planning tool built for anyone who has to keep certificates, accreditations and insurance policies current. Add an item such as an ISO certification, a Cyber Essentials badge or a liability insurance policy together with its expiry date, and the app will schedule reminder notifications thirty, fourteen and three days beforehand. Everything is colour coded by urgency so upcoming renewals are easy to spot at a glance, and the reminders work completely offline since no account or internet connection is required.

The booking screen lets you reserve a consultation slot at the head office without typing in any personal contact details. Choose a weekday from the calendar and pick an open time slot from the grid. Slots closer to today naturally show more availability taken, giving a realistic sense of demand, while slots further out remain mostly open. Once confirmed, the app schedules a reminder the day before and again an hour before your visit, and you can cancel the booking at any time from the same screen.

A dedicated contacts screen puts the head office address, phone numbers, email addresses and opening hours one tap away, with shortcuts to open the location in a maps application, start a phone call or compose an email. The interface uses a clean dark and teal colour palette, runs in a fullscreen immersive layout that hides distracting system bars while still respecting camera and gesture safe areas, and has been built to keep the download size as small as possible without sacrificing a modern, responsive design built entirely with Jetpack Compose.
