About Pulse Mech: Rhythm Shooter
A chunky mech stands at the bottom of a four-lane highway on an alien world. Robot-bugs march down the lanes in time with the music. Tap a lane as a bug crosses the hit line to blast it, hold to keep a beam on a long crawler, and swipe up to fire an EMP at an armoured shellback.
Hitting on the beat feels right because the shot, the music and the bug burst land together. The judgement is shown on every note: Perfect within 45 milliseconds and Good within 90 milliseconds. A bug that slips through costs a shield. When the shields reach zero, the song is lost.
There are thirty original songs in five sectors of six, and each song has Easy, Normal and Hard charts. The sixth song of each sector is a boss song, with a large boss bug descending behind the lanes in its last part. A song lasts about 90 to 150 seconds. Clear a song to unlock the next one. Hard opens once you have two stars on that song's Normal chart.
Daily Drill picks one unlocked song for you each day, at the highest difficulty you have opened for it. The first clear of the day pays double scrap.
Scrap is the only currency. Spend it on paints for your mech and on two shield cores. You start with three Shield Cells and earn one more when a sector has all six songs cleared. Arm a cell on the song start screen to add two shields to that song. Shield Cell ×5 is a consumable pack that adds five cells.
When your shields reach zero, an optional rewarded video, Continue with 3 shields, lets you carry on once per song. On a song result screen, the optional Double scrap video doubles that song's scrap, up to ten times a day. Rewarded offers are always labelled and optional.
The game contains ads and offers in-app purchases. A full-screen ad called Song break can appear only when you leave a song result screen. It never appears before your fourth completed song, never more than once every two completed songs, never less than 120 seconds apart, and never on the calibration screen or during a song. Remove Ads is a one-time purchase that removes these full-screen ads; rewarded offers remain.
The game works offline. The internet is used only for ads and for purchases through Google Play. It is for players aged 13 and over.
