About Midwifery Educator

Midwifery Educator application has been developed which will be used in the initial phase of the program by the Midwife Educators run by MoHFW and WHO. It provides a single platform for the Midwife Educators to track the progress of their training as well as service delivery component of their responsibilities. The app would also function as a source of information regarding Midwifery Educators by capturing Real-Time progress and monitoring of their progress. The Midwife Educators will enter data regarding their profile details, classroom training, hours of practical training including labour room related indicators. Features of the Mobile Application are as follows:
• Real-time data capture
• Separate login access and home page of different users like Midwifery Educators (current phase) and Midwives (later phase)
• Attendance marking and capturing classroom training details such as ongoing courses, access to training material etc.
• Capture of key performance indicators related to service delivery component for general competencies, antenatal care, care during labour and childbirth, ongoing care competencies and referrals.
