Bet-at-home

Bet-at-home is an event countdown app with a home screen widget that extends the countdown experience beyond the app itself. The widget shows your most imminent event with a live timer, days, hours, and minutes, updating as time passes.

The widget's design mirrors the app's clean aesthetic: an event card with emoji, name, and the real-time countdown prominently displayed. It's functional and visually consistent with the rest of the Bet-at-home experience.

For daily-use events like a work deadline or an upcoming trip, the widget serves as a permanent nudge. You don't need to open the app to stay aware of the time remaining.

As events pass and new ones become nearest, the widget transitions automatically. If you complete a deadline and a birthday is now closest, the widget switches to show the birthday countdown immediately.

Bet-at-home's widget functions entirely offline and requires no account. All data displayed in the widget is drawn from Bet-at-home's local storage on your device.
