Dr Meenakshi Bothra Gupta has done her MBBS from Medical College, Kolkata. During her MBBS, she received honours in Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Forensic & State Medicine, Otorhinolaryngology, Preventive & Social Medicine, General Surgery and Pediatrics, and Gold medals in Pathology, Preventive & Social Medicine and Gynecology & Obstetrics. She had also received scholarships for securing highest marks in MBBS professional exams, and was also awarded Dr B.C.Roy award for being the ‘Best Student’ of Medical College, Kolkata, for the year 2007.
She has done her postgraduation & senior residency from AIIMS, New Delhi. During her postgraduation, she has been a recipient of many prestigious awards, including Best Postgraduate Student in Pediatrics from AIIMS (2011), Best Clinical Research in Oncology Award (2010) from AIIMS & IJP best Pediatrics Thesis Award (2010). During her senior residency, she secured 1st position in the competitive grand rounds for Senior residents, organised by the Indian Journal of Pediatrics.
She has many National & International publications & has authored several book chapters & books. Her book “Review of Pediatrics & Neonatology” by Jaypee publishers, has received overwhelming response from medical undergraduates all over the country.
