Our Father in heaven, how we love you; how you love us. A new day unfolds, and we desire that it is infused with our worship of you. As we turn our eyes on the beauty of you, our spirits lift and find peace. Please pour out your Spirit upon us today, so we can worship in fresh ways. We humbly ask for a deeper relationship with you, so we can have a heightened awareness of God’s presence in us. In Jesus’ name, we pray, amen.

Remove fear and anxiety. As believers, you have not given us a spirit of fear, but of love power, and a sound mind. So when we are fearful, may we remember your love for us and use that love as the impetus to love others and see situations differently; may we tap into the power that you have given us – for we are never alone because you have not left us comfortless. May your wisdom be the underpinnings for our sound minds. May we remember that we don’t have to be anxious and when we are tempted to be anxious or worrisome, may we verbalize our concerns to you and then leave them there as you instructed us.

A morning prayer is a wonderful way to focus your time and attention on seeking God's plan for the day ahead. Whether you need encouragement, peace, strength, or rest, God can meet you in a very real and present way when you come before Him with a humble heart. Seek God's presence each morning before your energy and attention are pulled by all the tasks you have ahead.
