Keyboards

Keyboards is an educational app designed to develop musical ear and train auditory perception using an innovative virtual keyboard.

No prior musical knowledge or ability to read sheet music is required. The exercises build upon the auditory skills that everyone possesses and progressively introduce musical concepts as the user advances.

Philosophy

Keyboards Pro offers a different approach to ear training. Instead of requiring prior knowledge of music theory, the exercises are based on listening and the natural perception of the relationships between sounds.

As the user progresses, the application gradually introduces new sound arrangements, allowing them to discover and recognize scales, chords, and other auditory structures in a practical and intuitive way.

In addition to the Western musical system, Keyboards Pro incorporates exercises on intratonal space, inspired by the fine aural training developed by Edgar Willems, expanding the possibilities for sound exploration and discrimination.

The goal is to offer a practical tool for developing musical ear through the exploration and recognition of different sound arrangements, making it suitable for people with no musical knowledge as well as students, teachers, and musicians who wish to refine their aural skills.
