About Pixel Canvas

Pixel Canvas is a creative restoration game built around pigment mixing rather than picking colors from a ready-made palette. Each artwork arrives as a layered pixel grid with missing cells, and every layer holds a target hue you must reconstruct by dropping cyan, magenta, yellow, white, and black pigments into a limited mixing well. Subtractive blending decides the result, so the color you mix is the color that lands on the canvas, not a hidden correct swatch. After the mix is close enough, a single tap floods the connected region of that layer, and a wrong cell costs precision. Twelve hand-built pictures scale from two-layer studies to a five-layer rainbow, scored on color fidelity, fill accuracy, and speed. A Color Lab runs five random targets as a mixing drill, the Studio lets you paint and save original 16 by 16 works, and the Academy archive explains subtractive color, limited palettes, dithering, and restoration practice. Restored pictures keep the pigments you actually mixed, so the collection is a record of your own color decisions rather than a copy of the source art.
