Petiaki

Do you have a dog, cat, or other pet and no one to look after it while you're away? Petiaki solves the problem for free, thanks to its community.

Petiaki is a peer-to-peer pet-sitting platform based on reciprocity: you look after another owner's pet, and when you need it, someone will do the same for yours.

HOW IT WORKS
Register and create a profile for you and your pet.
Find available hosts in your city for the date you need.
Request a tiaki (from the Maori: to guard, care for, protect).
When the request is accepted, the tiaki is confirmed.
After each tiaki, leave and receive mutual feedback.

WHY PETIAKI
Completely free: no payment, no subscription required to use the basic service.
Based on trust: each user has a profile with verified reviews from other owners.
Just for animal lovers: the community is made up of people who treat their pets like family.
Intelligent matching: Find compatible hosts by animal type, availability, and time slot.
Integrated chat: Communicate directly with hosts and foster parents before confirming.

THE EXCHANGE SYSTEM
Every user starts with a tiaki balance. Hosting a pet earns you credits, fostering yours uses them. A balanced ecosystem where everyone contributes and everyone benefits.

MUTUAL FEEDBACK
After each tiaki, the host and foster parent rate each other, and the pet is also rated. The more positive feedback you have, the more trustworthy you are in the eyes of the community.

Petiaki isn't just an app. It's a village of people who love animals and trust each other. We create a bond, not a transaction. Today you take care of mine, tomorrow I'll take care of yours.

Download Petiaki and enter the village. Your future four-legged friends (and their humans) are waiting for you.
