PDF Inbox gathers every PDF on your phone — invoices, contracts, payslips, manuals, receipts — and organises them for you. No folders to create, nothing to rename.

And it all happens on your phone. No account, no cloud and no external AI.


IT FINDS YOUR PDFS FOR YOU

Grant access once and PDF Inbox finds the PDFs you already have. You can also pick them by hand, import a whole folder, or open them from any other app with "Open with": a PDF from WhatsApp or your email opens straight away and stays in your library.


IT ORGANISES ITSELF

Each document is read on your device and filed under its category: invoices, contracts, bank, receipts, payslips, insurance, health, travel, official documents, taxes, manuals, studies, work, personal and other.

If it gets one wrong, correct it once and it learns. The next invoice from that same company goes straight to the right place, and you can see exactly what it has learned and delete it whenever you like.


IT READS WHAT'S INSIDE

From every invoice it picks out the total, the date, the IBAN and who issued it. It also finds policy, contract and customer numbers, booking references and number plates, and links the documents that share them: the insurance policy with its receipt, the car inspection with the garage quote.

And it suggests a name you can understand at a glance: 2026-09-18_Endesa_Invoice_61.15.pdf instead of IMG_20260918_0032.pdf.

Scanned PDFs too: text recognition runs on the phone itself, without sending a single image anywhere.


A SEARCH THAT UNDERSTANDS YOU

Type it the way you would say it: "Amazon invoices from this year", "receipts over 100 euros", "insurance March 2025". PDF Inbox turns the phrase into filters — category, company, year, month, amount — and shows them as tags you can remove with one tap.

It searches inside the documents, not just their names: type "tenant" and the lease shows up even if the file is called "doc3.pdf". It shrugs off accents, plurals and small typos, knows that "salary" means your payslips, and understands English, Spanish, French, German and Italian. And when nothing matches every word, it says so and shows the closest results instead of an empty screen.


YOUR DOCUMENTS STAY HERE

Your documents never leave your device. They are not uploaded anywhere, there is no account or sign-up, and no external AI ever sees them. You don't have to take our word for it: the app works just the same in airplane mode.

What does go online has nothing to do with your documents. PDF Inbox is free and shows ads from Google AdMob, which uses your device's advertising ID and approximate location. The app checks for updates when it opens. And the Google library that reads scanned documents sends Google technical diagnostics about its own operation. None of them ever receives your files or anything inside them. It is all explained in the privacy policy.

The original files on your phone are never modified or deleted: PDF Inbox always works on its own copy.

ALL-FILES ACCESS PERMISSION

On Android 11 and later, finding your PDFs automatically requires the all-files access permission: the system does not allow choosing the Downloads folder any other way. The permission is optional and is only requested when you use that feature. Without it, the app works just the same by picking files by hand.

PDF Inbox uses that access only to locate PDF files and copy them into its library. It does not read, modify or send any other file.
