About Texas Real Estate Exam Prep

DISCLAIMER: Pass Texas is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC), Pearson VUE, or any government entity. It is for exam study purposes only.

Most people study for this exam by rereading their notes and hoping it sticks. Rereading feels productive, which is the problem. It is very hard to tell the difference between a topic you actually know and a topic you have just seen a few times. Pass Texas is built to tell you the difference while you still have time to do something about it.

1,377 PRACTICE QUESTIONS
Covering both the National and Texas portions, in the format Pearson VUE uses. Every question comes with a full explanation, including why each wrong answer looked reasonable. Answering is only half of it. The explanation is where the studying actually happens.

A FULL TIMED PRACTICE EXAM
120 scored questions, 80 National and 40 Texas, on the clock. You are scored by portion, so you find out whether you are short on national principles or Texas rules. One overall percentage tells you almost nothing about what to fix next.

MATH COACH
The seven math areas that carry points: property area, valuation, commission, loan financing costs, settlement and closing costs, investment, and property management. Worked through step by step, with a read on the specific mistake you keep repeating. Most people are not bad at exam math. They are making one error over and over.

12 WAYS TO STUDY
Study guide, flashcards, term recall, key terms, topic practice, focus areas, mixed practice, math coach, quick review, weak area blitz, trap library, and the full practice exam. Different days call for different work.

FLASHCARDS THAT RESPECT YOUR TIME
Cards come back on a schedule set by how well you knew them last time, so your minutes go to the material that has not stuck yet instead of the material you already have down.

THE TRAP LIBRARY
EXCEPT. NOT. LEAST LIKELY. The wording that turns a question you know into a question you get wrong. Drill them on their own until they stop working on you.

KNOW WHAT TO STUDY NEXT
A weak area dashboard that ranks topics by how much they are costing you. Open the app, see the one thing worth doing today, do it.

STUDY ANYWHERE
The whole question bank lives on your phone, so no signal is not an excuse. Progress syncs when you are back online.

EXAM DETAILS
The Texas Real Estate Sales Agent exam is scored on 120 questions. The National portion is 80 questions and you need 56 correct. The Texas portion is 40 questions and you need 28 correct. Your appointment runs 240 minutes and includes extra unscored pretest questions that look exactly like the scored ones. Pass Texas mirrors that structure.
