HerHello: Intl Dating

HerHello is international dating built around one idea: she decides who opens the conversation.

SHE DECIDES WHO OPENS THE CONVERSATION
Every woman on HerHello chooses how her matches start — either of you can send the first message, or only she can. Whichever she picks is enforced in the database, not just suggested in the design, and it applies to the matches she makes after she chooses. No opener she did not agree to.

CHECKED BY A PERSON, NOT AN ALGORITHM
Members can choose to verify with a live selfie taken in the app. A real person compares it to the profile photos and, if it matches, the profile gets a verified badge. No document upload, no passport, no government ID — we do not ask for them and we do not store them.

Verification is optional, so you will see both verified and unverified members. If you would rather only see people who have been checked, switch on the verified-only filter and the feed adjusts to you. The choice sits with you rather than being made for you.

VOICE AND VIDEO CALLS
Call your matches inside the app. Hear them and see them before you meet, without giving out your number.

COUNTRY STAMPS
Match with someone from a new country and you earn a stamp for it. Philippines. Thailand. Colombia. Vietnam. Japan. Your collection grows as your connections do — a running record of where your conversations have taken you, with rarer countries worth more.

TRAVEL MODE
Heading somewhere next month? Set your destination and dates, and start appearing in the feed for that country before you fly. Conversations can begin before you land instead of on your first jet-lagged night. The Travel tab also has meet-safely guides for the Philippines, Thailand and the US.

MESSAGE TRANSLATION
Chat across languages without leaving the app. Translated messages appear inline, and one tap shows the original text so nothing gets quietly reworded.

TRAVEL PARTNERS
A directory of local guides, visa services, eSIM providers, insurance and accommodation, organised by destination country. Practical help for an actual trip.

INTENT TAGS
Every profile says what that person is looking for — serious, travel companion, or casual — so you know before you swipe rather than three weeks into a conversation.

PHOTOS AND SAFETY
Every woman also chooses whether her photos show straight away or stay blurred until you match. Report and block are one tap from any profile or chat, and flagged content is reviewed. Members are 18+.

EVERYTHING IS FREE RIGHT NOW
There is no paid tier to buy and nothing is held back. Unlimited swipes, seeing who liked you, voice and video calls, read receipts and translation are open to every member while the community is growing.

HerHello is for people meeting across borders who are tired of fake profiles and cold openers, and would rather start with a hello from someone who meant to send it.

18+. HerHello is not affiliated with any government or passport authority.
