Uncrease: PDF & Ebook Reader

PDFs are made for paper. On a phone that means pinching, zooming and scrolling sideways to follow one sentence across two narrow columns. Uncrease turns them back into clean text that flows to fit your screen.

READ IT YOUR WAY
• Text size, font, line spacing and column width
• Light, sepia, dark and true black themes
• Scroll, or turn pages like a book
• Pick up exactly where you left off

NOTHING LOST IN CONVERSION
• Headings, lists, quotes and footnotes come through as they should
• Figures, tables and equations stay where they belong; tap one to zoom
• Two-column papers, books and reports all reflow
• Scanned pages are read on your phone and turned into text

PDFS, EBOOKS AND ARTICLES
• Open PDFs and EPUBs from Files or other apps
• Share a link from your browser to save an article or a PDF
• Search inside a book, or across your whole library

HIGHLIGHT, NOTE, LISTEN
• Highlight in four colours and add notes
• Read aloud with the screen off, at your own pace, with a sleep timer
• Footnotes open in place without losing your page

FIND SOMETHING NEW
• Search Project Gutenberg's public-domain classics, arXiv's research papers and OAPEN's open-access books
• Get a book in one tap; it's ready to read in seconds
• Recommendations from what you read, worked out on your phone
• Add your own OPDS catalog, such as a Calibre library

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account and no ads. Your library, highlights and reading stay on your device. Uncrease sends usage statistics and crash reports to help us improve it (never what you read or search for), and you can turn them off in one tap.
