• Parking-reminder exception areas
When your selected vehicle's Bluetooth connection ends, ParkPin reminds you to save your parking location. This optional feature requires background location permission because ParkPin collects location data even when the app is closed or not in use. Each time that connection ends, ParkPin checks your current location once on your device against saved exception areas with a 250 m radius and suppresses the reminder there. The location used for this check is not stored, sent to or shared with ParkPin servers or other third parties, or used for advertising, analytics, or error reporting.
