About TEACH Nagaland

The Teach Nagaland App is the official app of the Government of Nagaland's Department of Education for supporting teachers and observing classroom activities.

The certified TEACH observers are to use this app to observe and record information from classroom observations in accordance with the TEACH Tool. This app can only be used by observers who have received certification in the use of the TEACH Standardized classroom observation tool. The collected data will be examined, and the observers will use the results to provide the instructors with individualized support and mentoring at the classroom level. Additionally, it will allow for state-level teacher professional development and data-driven decision-making.

Features of the app include:
-Use the TEACH standardized tool to conduct teacher mentor observations in the classroom.
-Teacher profiles for each teacher include a list of scheduled and planned observations as well as cumulative observation records. -Designated teacher mentors use the app to record the classroom observations of assigned teachers.
- Month-wise statistics of teachers observed on the homepage


Continuous Teacher Professional Development:
-Based on the information gathered from the observers' observations in the classroom, teachers receive individualized support and mentoring.
On the basis of this information, need-based trainings for teachers' professional development will be designed.
Peer Learning Communities (PLCs) will be developed to help teacher communities master the TEACH components together.

This app is designed to record the teaching-learning practices and accordingly create continuous support for the professional development of teachers in Nagaland as part of the implementation of the NECTAR project in collaboration with the World Bank and Leadership For Equity (LFE)
