About Nazarly: Evil Eye Friends Game

Give your friends the evil eye with a single tap, then watch them break it with a playful ritual from their own culture. Nazarly turns one of the world's oldest folk traditions into a light, funny friends game you play with the people you actually know.

THE EVIL EYE IS A COMPLIMENT IN DISGUISE
In folklore the evil eye comes from admiration: when someone shines a little too bright, the eye follows. So in Nazarly every nazar is a compliment in disguise. Your friend gets a notification, opens the app, finds a cracked charm and a wink like "Guess you shine a little too bright 😏", and then gets to break the evil eye.

HOW TO PLAY
Add friends with your invite link, a code or your QR card; friendships are always mutual. Tap a friend and your nazar 🧿 is on its way. Changed your mind? You have 5 seconds to undo. You can attach a sweet, preset compliment such as "You're glowing today". There is no free text, so nobody can write anything mean.

Every nazar that lands puts a small crack in your evil eye bead, and a ritual makes it whole again. Leave it alone and it simply fades by itself after 7 days. Nothing bad ever happens: the fun is in the ritual and in wondering which friend sent it.

18 RITUALS FROM 12 CULTURES
This is the heart of Nazarly. Pour molten lead into water and read the shape it takes: a key, a heart, a ship or a crown, each with its own cheerful little omen. Knock on wood, go "tfu tfu tfu" over your shoulder, toss salt over the other one, or drop oil on water the way Greek and Italian grandmothers do. Roll an egg in a Mexican limpia, pop esfand seeds in a Persian pan, string a nimbu-mirchi by the door, tie a red string, rub an Italian cornicello, squeeze a Brazilian figa, raise a hamsa, or tap your teeth and tug your ear the Anatolian way. Your own tradition comes first, but every ritual is open to everyone, so you can travel the world one evil eye at a time.

AFTER THE RITUAL
Send the nazar back without knowing who sent it, send a blessing that makes a friend's charm shine, or share a card of your ritual result.

WHO SENT IT?
Every nazar arrives anonymously, and every sender knows they can be revealed. Curious? See the real sender, never a vague hint, once a day for free by watching an ad, with Eye credits, or with Eye Mode. The sender is never told.

SHIELDS AND COUNTERMOVES
Turn on a shield and incoming nazars get stuck on your charm. The sender can answer with a Strong Nazar that breaks through. Feeling unbeatable? A Double Shield holds even against a Strong Nazar.

YOUR LUCKY CHARM, YOUR CULTURE
Blue bead, Greek mati, hamsa hand, cornicello, figa, nimbu-mirchi, ojo de venado: each tradition has its own evil eye charm, rituals and sayings, all drawn in code. Add the home screen widget and watch your amulet crack when a nazar lands and heal after every ritual.

SAFE BY DESIGN
Only mutual friends can send you anything. Block anyone, even an anonymous sender, without finding out who it was. Mute, quiet hours, a quiet-on-Shabbat option, pausing and reporting are always free. Sending limits stop spam, and there are no fake nazars or fake notifications: every nazar is a real friend's real tap. Nazarly is for ages 16 and up. It never asks for your phone number, contacts, location or photos, and you can delete your account anytime in Settings.

EYE MODE AND PURCHASES
Nazarly is free to play with ads, and full-screen ads never interrupt a ritual. Eye Mode is an optional weekly or monthly auto-renewing subscription: see who sent every nazar, send Strong Nazars for free, get 24-hour shields, the Eye charm and no ads. Cancel anytime in Google Play. Eye credits, shields, charms and ad removal are also available as one-time purchases.

LANGUAGES
English, Turkish, Greek, Italian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Arabic, Persian, Hindi, Hebrew, Russian and Kurmancî (Kurdish).

Nazarly is a folklore-inspired friend game made for fun. It makes no claim of real protection, healing or luck.
