The Patio first opened its doors on November 7, 1977 in Bridgeview, IL, and quickly developed a reputation for providing patrons with QUALITY FOOD AND FAST FRIENDLY SERVICE. Our Baby Back Ribs and homemade barbecue sauce soon proved to be a key to our success! Four decades and millions of slabs later, these award-winning baby backs are still hand-selected, rubbed with our unique spice blend, slowly cooked, and flame seared to perfection!

The popularity of our baby back ribs has transformed The Patio from a small 2000 square foot restaurant into a locally famous chain with locations throughout the south and west suburbs.

The Patio offers more than just their famous ribs; other barbecue options include pulled pork, beef brisket, and pulled turkey, which are all slowly smoked over their own hardwood blends. Another notable item is our rotisserie chicken, which has been a staple on the menu since 1977. In addition to great barbecue, The Patio offers a variety of homemade burgers, hearty sandwiches, seafood selections, and made to order salads.

The Patio’s distinct concept offers a vast menu for all types of diners and every type of occasion. Dining at The Patio involves three simple steps: place your order at the counter, retire to a booth or table in our spacious dining room, and within minutes, your delicious meal will be delivered. The Patio also provides drive-thru, take-out and catering.

Then pick up your order at our Patio friendly Drive-Thru windows or inside any one of our six locations in Aurora, Bolingbrook, Bridgeview, Darien, Lombard or Orland Park, Illinois. We are open Monday through Thursday from 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM; Friday and Saturday from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM; and on Sunday from 10:30 AM to 9:30 PM. All locations provide fast and friendly service, free drink refills, and no tip service!
