Ochre Spindle

Ochre Spindle is a quiet kiln game. Six nests sit in two rows. A tray offers four glass beads: amber, teal, crimson, violet, and occasional soot.

Tap a bead, then tap an empty nest. When you fire, three matching beads in a row fuse into a seam and score. A matching pair scores as well. The two center nests are the spindle and pay more when they hold the same color. Soot scores only when it sits against amber. If a fire fuses nothing, one nest cracks.

Each fire shortens the wick. Reach the heat goal for that sitting before the wick is gone, then take the next heat. Later heats ask for a higher score and give a shorter wick.
