This is Mahjong solitaire (Shanghai-style matching), not four-player table Mahjong. Tiles are arranged in layered shapes. Tap a free tile, then tap a matching free tile to remove the pair. A tile is free when nothing sits on top of it and at least one long side is open. Clear every tile to win.

Built for comfort
Most Mahjong apps squeeze 144 tiles onto a phone until matching becomes a vision test. Just Mahjong does the opposite: boards are sized so tiles stay large and easy to read. Shorter layouts mean bigger tiles and quicker sessions. Classic full-size boards are there when you want the traditional challenge — especially on tablets.
