About No Contact: Breakup Recovery
Steady: No Contact Breakup Recovery is a personal healing and well-being toolkit designed to help you maintain no contact, resist the urge to message your ex, process complex emotions, understand your relationship patterns, and rebuild your self-confidence.
BREAKUP RECOVERY & NO CONTACT
Breakups can bring sadness, overthinking, difficult memories, emotional triggers, and the temptation to reach out. Use practical tools to pause, reflect, focus on yourself, and continue your recovery.
NO CONTACT TRACKER & COUNTER
Track how long you have maintained no contact and celebrate milestones. Your streak and counter help you stay aware of your progress and committed to your personal goal.
MOOD TRACKER & JOURNAL
Record your mood, feelings, and emotional experiences throughout your healing journey. Review your mood history to notice patterns, build self-awareness, and better understand how you are feeling over time.
Use private journaling to record thoughts, memories, reflections, triggers, and experiences. Unsent Letters gives you a safe space to express what you want to say without contacting your ex.
DAILY TASKS, GOALS & ROUTINES
Complete daily tasks, set personal goals, add pictures, record triggers, reflect on your experiences, and build routines that support personal growth. Small actions can create structure and make recovery feel more manageable.
HEALING JOURNEY
Use the Journey section to reflect on where you started, recognize your progress, and record the steps you are taking toward a new chapter. Stay accountable as you move forward.
TRACK YOUR TRIGGERS
Memories, places, songs, conversations, thoughts, and situations can trigger an urge to contact your ex. Use the trigger log to record these moments, identify patterns, and pause before acting.
RED FLAGS
When you miss someone, it can be easy to focus only on positive memories. Keep a personal record of toxic relationship patterns, unhealthy experiences, and red flags to revisit when nostalgia affects your perspective.
AFFIRMATIONS & MOTIVATION
Record affirmations and reflections that help you focus on self-worth, self-confidence, inner strength, self-love, and personal growth. Motivational messages can help you stay focused when difficult emotions or urges appear.
FIGHT THE URGE TOOLKIT
When you feel the urge to text or contact your ex, quickly access the Fight the Urge / SOS toolkit. Available tools include:
• Breathing exercises
• 5-4-3-2-1 grounding
• Red Flags
• Your Wins
• Unsent Letters
• Motivation
• Fight the Urge activities
• Don't Text Your Ex-reminders
These tools help you pause, redirect your attention, and create space between an emotional urge and your next action.
ACTIVITY & REFLECTION
Keep your healing activities together in one place. Review your pictures, journal entries, mood records, triggers, rituals, affirmations, activities, reflections, wins, and progress.
BUILD SELF-CONFIDENCE & PERSONAL GROWTH
Moving forward after a breakup can be an opportunity for self-discovery, self-awareness, and personal growth. Use goals, routines, journaling, affirmations, reflections, and daily activities to strengthen your self-worth and build confidence.

i've tried distracting myself after a breakup, but that doesnt always deal with what's actually going on in your head. i like the idea of journaling and tracking triggers because it gives you somewhere to put those thoughts. feels like more useful breakup help than simply trying to ignore everything.
one thing that stands out to me is how much the app focuses on yourself rather than your ex. thats important after a breakup because it's really easy to spend all your energy wondering what they're doing. anything that helps shift that attention back toward your own recovery is worth trying.
i was looking for breakup help that felt practical instead of just reading motivational quotes all day. Steady seems more focused on actually doing something with your thoughts and emotions. the combination of no contact tracking, journaling and progress tracking makes the whole idea pretty appealing to me.
i think the triggers feature could be really useful. sometimes you know you want to reach out but dont really stop to think about what caused the feeling. tracking those moments could help you notice patterns over time and make it easier to handle the next one without breaking no contact.
after a breakup, my head can get pretty messy and i usually dont know what to focus on first. i like the idea of having one place for journaling, tracking emotions and keeping up with no contact. feels more practical than just downloading another app and forgetting about it lol.
the no contact tracker makes a lot of sense for anyone who keeps going back and forth. i've definitely had moments where i thought i'd be fine and then wanted to reach out again. having a visible reminder of your progress could make it easier to stay committed and keep no contact.
