Keepsake: Doc Scanner & Vault

Keepsake is a document scanner and a private photo vault in one app. Scan papers, receipts, IDs and old photographs into an encrypted, searchable vault that lives only on your phone — the app has no internet permission at all, so nothing can leave.

DOCUMENT SCANNER
• Scan to PDF with automatic edge detection and multi-page documents
• Presets for documents, ID cards and receipts
• On-device OCR turns every scan into searchable text
• Photo mode digitises old prints with gentle auto-enhancement

PRIVATE VAULT
• Every file is encrypted with AES-256 on your device
• Unlock with fingerprint or PIN
• No internet permission — the app cannot upload, sync or phone home
• Excluded from backups, screenshots blocked, secure-wipe delete

FIND ANYTHING
Search by the words on the page. Type "hardware" and the receipt from the hardware store comes up, ranked by how well it matches. Scans are auto-named from what they contain, so you do not have to.

QUICK ACCESS
Long-press the app icon to jump straight into a scan. Sort, filter and rename in a tap. Copy scanned text out of any document.

GOOD FOR
• Passports, insurance cards, leases and warranties you want on hand but not in the cloud
• Receipts and expense paperwork, scanned the day you get them
• Old family photos, digitised and kept private
• A secure folder for anything you would rather not have in your camera roll

Your documents. Your photos. Your phone. That is the whole architecture.
