Neck Alert is an app designed to help you develop better phone habits so that you can potentially prevent yourself from developing text neck, forward neck, iHunch or other posture related repetitive strain injuries or upper spinal medical issues.

Neck Alert detects your current screen angle at which you are viewing your phone/tablet screen and gently alerts you if the angle of your screen is dangerously low/flat, which at prolonged durations may lead to neck or upper spine problems.

Neck Alert works in the background, so you can be notified even if you are doing other activities on your device, such as texting or watching a video. When the alert is activated, the edges of your screen will gently light up to remind you to raise your phone angle, but it will not interrupt your current task/activity on your phone.

You can further customize these settings and features such as:

Choose edge lighting colors: Blue or Red.

Choose your preferred screen angle alert anywhere from 45 to 90 degrees.

Delay the alert anywhere from 1 seconds up to 60 seconds.
