NearBlend

NearBlend shows you what is happening around you right now, and gives you a way to join it.

The people you would most enjoy knowing are usually already close by. You just have no way of finding each other. NearBlend fixes that.

POST A PLAN, AND SEE WHO JOINS
Chai at five. Badminton at nine. Revision at the library. Post it, and anyone inside the radius you choose can see it and come along. Plans stay live for a few hours and then quietly stop.

ONE CHAT FOR EACH PLAN
Everyone who joins the same plan lands in the same group chat, so working out where to meet takes one conversation instead of ten. When the plan ends the chat stays readable but stops accepting new messages.

A MAP THAT MEANS IT WHEN IT SAYS NEAR
Choose your radius — anywhere from 1 km to 50 km — and your list shows only what is genuinely inside it. Zoom the map out and you can see roughly where else in the country people are using NearBlend, at a much coarser scale.

FIND SOMEWHERE WORTH GOING
Discover ranks cafés, grounds, parks, salons and more for where you actually are: the top five within five kilometres, scored on rating, distance and review count rather than on a city-wide average.

YOUR LOCATION STAYS YOURS
Location is the most sensitive thing an app like this touches, so NearBlend is built around protecting it:

• Nobody sees where you are. Your position is snapped to a grid roughly 500 metres across before another user ever sees it, and to roughly 5 kilometres on the wider zoomed-out map. Your exact coordinates are never shared with another user.
• Ghost Mode hides you completely. Disappear from the map whenever you like and carry on chatting normally.
• Never tracked in the background. Location is read only while the app is open on your screen. Close it and NearBlend stops, entirely.
• Under-18s start hidden. Anyone between 13 and 17 begins in Ghost Mode by default, and the app is not available to anyone under 13.
• Your data is stored in India, on servers in Mumbai.

A SAFE PLACE TO MEET PEOPLE
Block anyone instantly — a blocked person disappears from your map, your lists and your chats, and can never message you again. Report a person or a message in two taps. Child-safety reports are treated as our highest priority, and the person who posted a plan can remove comments on it.

NearBlend is family-safe by design. There is no alcohol, nightlife or gambling content anywhere in the app, including in the places we recommend.

The app succeeds when you close it and meet someone in person.
