From the history of research-driven pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim
From the history of the research-driven pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim: The chronicle draws the picture of a company history that has been influenced and steered by extraordinary personalities. In 1885, Albert Boehringer purchased a tartar factory in Nieder-Ingelheim. This was the beginning of a successful entrepreneurial activity as well as the germ cell of the current corporation. Independence and organic growth were and are the defining principles for this development, whose ongoing dynamism comes from innovation and an orientation towards the needs of our customers. Respect, trust, and appreciation with regard to our employees are deeply rooted in the culture of our company. The chronicle’s second edition has been revised and contains a new chapter on the company’s development over the past 10 years.
