About Vocabulary Alarm: WordWake
WORDWAKE — THE VOCABULARY ALARM CLOCK
Your alarm only stops when you answer.
WordWake is a morning alarm clock that refuses to shut up until you solve a vocabulary quiz. No snooze loophole, no swipe-to-dismiss. You answer a word, the alarm stops, the day begins. Learning happens before your willpower is awake.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Add the words you actually want to learn.
2. Set your alarm time.
3. The alarm rings. Type the translation. The ringing stops.
That is the entire loop. Five minutes, every morning.
WHY MORNING?
- 5 to 10 minutes, every morning. That is the whole habit.
- You are already going to wake up. Stack the language reps onto that anchor.
- No app to open, no streak to maintain — the alarm comes to you.
YOUR WORDS, YOUR LIST
- Add your own vocabulary in any of 7 languages: English, Turkish, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Arabic.
- Any source, any target. Learn Spanish from English, German from Arabic, Russian from Turkish — any pair.
- Mark words as learned. Delete what you no longer need. The list is yours.
- Or start instantly with a free ready-made word pack — no typing required.
PERFECT FOR EXAM PREP
TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, GRE, YDS, YÖKDİL, DELE, DELF, Goethe, and any university or professional vocabulary list. Paste your study set, set the alarm, and the words come to you each morning.
A DIFFERENT KIND OF VOCABULARY APP
Most vocabulary apps wait for you to open them. Most alarm clocks let you swipe them away. WordWake sits in the gap: an alarm clock whose dismiss button is a vocabulary quiz. If you have ever downloaded a language app and stopped using it in week two, the problem was never the app — it was the moment you were supposed to open it. WordWake picks that moment for you.

QUESTIONS
Can I really not skip it? The alarm keeps ringing until your answer is correct. There is a "watch an ad and skip" escape hatch for the mornings you are genuinely out of time — but you have to deliberately choose it.
Do I need to be online? Your word list lives on your device.
Do I have to make an account? No. No signup, no email.
Which languages? English, Turkish, Spanish, French, German, Russian and Arabic — in any direction.
Can I use it as a normal alarm clock? Yes. It is a real alarm clock first; the quiz is the dismiss step.
DESIGNED IN 2026
Built with Material 3 and Jetpack Compose. Bricolage Grotesque and Plus Jakarta typography. Dark mode that is actually dark. The kind of app that does not feel ported from 2016.
NO SIGNUP, NO EMAIL WALL
Open the app, add a word, set the alarm. That is the onboarding. We do not ask you to log in. We do not ask for your email. We do not pretend a paywall is a tutorial.
PRIVACY
Your word list lives on your device. No account required. Read the privacy policy from the in-app settings.
HABIT-STACK YOUR LANGUAGE LEARNING
You probably already have a language app you feel guilty about. WordWake is the morning slot it does not own. 5 minutes. Every day. Your words.
Set the alarm tonight. Wake up smarter tomorrow.
