The Complete Book of History, authored by Abu al-Hasan Izz al-Din Ali bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Abdul Karim bin Abdul Wahid al-Jazari al-Mawsili al-Shaibani, known briefly as Ibn al-Atheer al-Jazari or Ibn al-Atheer, is a Muslim scholar, genealogical historian, hadith narrator, and writer who is considered one of the most prominent Arab Muslim historians.
